Academy of the New Church is seeking a varsity football game the week-end of September 21/22.
We are in the Northeast suburbs of Philadelphia. We are a single A size school with 125 boys 9 through 12. We have been playing football here since the early 1900s. The Northeastern Bobcats have
completed phase one of building a football program, and are now looking to
continue the momentum by building the family with quality people.
We are actively searching for a
Freshmen Head Coach, Assistant Freshmen Coach, and Varsity/JV Offensive &
Defensive Line coach (emphasis on Offensive Line play). Northeastern will be
competing at the varsity level in District 3 AAA in the 2008 season, but would
like to schedule freshmen or JV only games for next year (2007). Anyone who is
interested in scheduling a JV only game, even on an off day, we would love to
entertain the offer. We will consider playing games against A or AA teams, and
would like to schedule two scrimmages against
programs that are local to us (less than 2 hours away) in August of 2007.
Northeastern is located 25 minutes south of Harrisburg off of I-83. We have won
the state baseball title and have recently had outstanding volleyball, soccer,
and basketball teams. We are seeking highly qualified coaching candidates, as
we have a staff in place that has major Division 1, professional, and small
college experience.
Teachers are highly desirable with the time demands we have in the summer and
during daytime hours.

This is a start-up program that is expected to have over 100 players out for football in year one, freshmen football. Successful candidate (s) will have the opportunity to move up to the Varsity level with positive evaluations.
