Luke Hagy, Mount Lebanon, rushed for 247 yards on 21 carries and scored five touchdowns — setting Mt. Lebanon rushing records for career yards (3,135) and touchdowns (50) — as the Blue Devils defeated Pine-Richland, 34-7.
Tyrone Area's Stevie Franco threw for 152 and a touchdown in the Eagles 17-6 win over Bellwood-Antis. He passed Leonard Wilsons' career yardage mark in the game. Stevie now has 3,627 yds. He was tied for most career touchdown passes with 34 so he now holds that one alone with 35.
Sishon Solomon, Murrell-Dobbins Vo-Tech set a state record for longest interception return for a touchdown when he picked off an Abraham Lincoln pass, deep in his own end zone and returned it 109 yards for the score.
Fort Cherry High School chalked up win number 300 in team history with a 55-40 victory over West Beaver.
