Davis Soldner, Manheim Township, set a state record for the most field goals in a single season when he booted a 27-yarder in the Black Knight's 45-7 win over Penn Manor.  The previous record of 13 field goals in one season was held by Greg Davis, Germantown Academy, and Soldner who tied it last week with 2 field goals in the game.

Antwuan Reed, Greater Johnstown, rushed for 330 yards in a season-ending victory over Penn Cambria.  That figure gave him 1,915 yards on the season and it also put him over the 4,000-yard mark for his career.  His 4,276 yards are second only to LaRod Stephens-Howling's 4597. It's also the second time Reed went over 300 in a game this year.  Earlier this season against Richland, he gained 348 yards on the ground.  Those two performances are one and two all-time at Johnstown, both eclipsing LaRod's 328 that he gained against Central in 2003.

Junior Tyler Bittner set Franklin High School records for receptions, receiving yards and touchdown catches in 2007, his junior year. The 6-2, 180-pounder also holds career records for catches (102) and TD receptions (19). He has 1,377 career yards receiving, second only to Nate Byham, who had 1,544 in 2004 and 2005.

Parkland shut out Whitehall, 31-0,  for its sixth shutout in a row. Parkland set a new season record by only allowing 44 total points through 10 games.  They are the number one seed for the District 11 Championships.

Jason Reuter, Jenkintown, rushed for 147 yards and scored three touchdowns in a 58-7 victory over Carson Long Military Institute while setting the school record with 1,369 yards. Steve Eichert, had set the mark in 1994 with 1,327 yards.

Dick’s school record for touchdown passes in a season (22) by firing his 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd scoring tosses of the year and also surpassed Dick’s single-season passing mark of 1,627 yards. Smith now has 1,695 yards. In the process, Smith also tied Dick’s career passing touchdowns mark at Redbank Valley with 38.
