Rushel Shell, Hopewell, rushed for 256 yards and scored four touchdowns in the Vikings win over Indiana. In the process he tied a nation record with his 38th 100-yard game. He is now tied with Billy Sims of Hooks, Texas (1972-1975) who later starred with the Detroit Lions. Shell now has a career total of 8,787 yards leaving him just 240 yards short of the state record set by Jeremiah Young (9,027) set in 2008
Trey Robinson, Wilson Area, rushed for 405 yards in his team's 47-17 win over Notre Dame. The 405 yards set a new Colonial League record previously held by Josh Wing of Bangor (337 yards). That total also set a new Wilson Area school record.
Stevie
Franco, Tyrone Area, passed for 260 yyards in the Eagles win over
Juniata, That total place Franco in the elite 5000-yard career passing
category.
Kevin Guylas, Allentown Central
Catholic, set two records in the Vikings, 46-7 win over Emmaus.
Gulyas caught 10 passes for 144 yards and now has totals of 82 catches and
1,290 yards in 10 games this season, both single-season District 11 records.
He held the old marks with 78 catches and 1,282 yards set in the 2010
season.
William Wiser, Big Spring, rushed for 146 yards to break the Big Spring school single-season rushing record. He has rushed for 1342 yards this season.
Central Bucks South, scored 61 points in their win over Central Bucks East to set a new school record for most points scored in a single game.
John Chereson, Cathedral Prep Place kicker, set a new school record for most field goals in a game when he booted four field goals in the Ramblers, 35-0 win over Erie East. He connected on kicks of 32, 29, 35 and 37 yards to establish the school record.
Tyrayl Veney, Indiana Area, scored on a 62-yard run to get his 20th touchdown of the season. His 20 touchdown broke the Indiana Area single season mark of 19 previously held by Ben Fiscus.
Tim Wade, LaSalle College High School, rushed for 290 yards to set a new school single-game rushing record in a 26-16 win over Father Judge.
