Cody Shustack, Mount Carmel Area,  went over the 1000 yard mark Friday in the win over Bloomsburg, He, along with Meyrick Lamb, became only the fourth set of backs in MCA history to go over 1000 yards during the same season. Coach Carm DeFrancescp and Henry Hynoski were the last to do it in 1970. They were preceded by Gary Diminick and Bob Veach in 1968 and Greg Doviak and Bob Hamernick in 1966.
 
Mount Carmel Area earned its 50th post season victory in the win over Bloomsburg. MCA's post season mark stands at 50-15 - It marked the Tornadoes 8th District Championship

Nick Patton, Tyrone,  had 168 yds receiving Friday breaking his own single game record for yards he had 164 on 2 previous occasions. His 3 td receptions made him the top td receptions in a season guy with 13 as well and his 6 catches gave him 54 on the season for 1063 yd also the most in a season in both categories at Tyrone.
