Wade Williams (Sr., WR - Pius X) currently has 24 career touchdown receptions and the all-time lead in that category at Pius X High School for the Royals football team... in the 7th game of his senior season he surpassed the previous mark held by 2 former receivers: Quintin "Q" Lopez ('05) & Willie Wallace ('05) who both hauled in 23 TDs in their respective careers at Pius X...
 
Williams is also on the heels of of breaking records in 2 other major categories... career receptions held by Tony Merlo ('96) - 110 rec. and career receiving yardage held by Lopez - 1,882 yds... both records likely to fall before the year is out...

Tyler Bittner, Franklin High School, broke Nate Byham's school record single season receiving record of 883 yards with his 14 catches for 172 yards and 2 touchdowns on Friday night. He also has broken Byham's single season receiving record of 10 and his reception record of 45 this season as well as the school record for most receptions in a single game. Bittner now has 61 catches, 913 yards, and 12 touchdowns.


Bristol sophomore running back, Woodrow Vorters, broke two school records, and is believed to have set a Lower Bucks County high school record, by rushing for 396 yards and seven touchdowns in Bristol’s wild 55-32 victory over visiting Jenkintown. Vorters  broke the previous school record for rushing yards in a game (held since 1995 by Dan Smith).


Jake Wickline, Riverside (D-7) broke the school record for career rushing yards. Wickline now has totaled 3,691 in his career and has at least 3 games remaining to try to break the coveted 4000-yard mark.


Donte Valentino, California, ran for 179 yards in a 27-6 win over Mapletown to overtake Nathan Peters as the Trojans' all-time leading rusher. Peters' total was of 4,126 yards. Valentino pushed the new record up to 4,231 yards.


Running Back, Tracy Booker, Valley, set a school record on Friday night for single-game rushing at 389 yards. He broke Billy Callahan's previous record set in 1981 at 347 yards. Callahan later played for Pitt, Steelers & Seahawks.


Sophomore, Jacob Burdett, of Kittanning set a school single-game rushing record with 339 yards as the Wildcats defeated Northgate, 39-22. It was only the second varsity start for Burdett. It broke the old mark set by Matt Lasher's 322 yards in 1997.
