UNSUNG HEROES - 2009

Please note that this page is for the "Unsung Heroes" of the game.  Unsung simply means that these players did something special in a game, but received no recognition for his efforts.  This page is not meant for the player who had a big game and was recognized in the local newspapers.  Please keep this in mind and understand that I reserve judgment on any posts and have the right not to publish those that do not come under the guidelines.

Nominated because: Flail started the season as the starting running back for unknown reasons, he was bumped from starting offense. Flail decided to focus everything on defense and special teams, making hima  total team player. For conference supremacy Flail came out and had a magical night. Flail compiled 3 touchdowns none of which were on offense. A 9 YARD STRIP AND SCOOP FUMBLE RETURN FOR A TD, A 53 YARD INTERCEPTION RETURN FOR A TD, 81 YARD KICKOFF RETURN, ANOTHER FUMBLE RECOVERY IN WHICH HE WAS TACKLED at the 8 yard line. Flail had 2 sacks, and 8 solo tackles.
